The Weekly League

The Weekly League is the competitive heartbeat of Time Heroes. It runs Monday to Sunday, everybody is in one global pool, and it wipes clean at the end of every week. You do not sign up for it. You enter the moment you score your first trophy.

Above it sits the Pantheon, which is the all time board and never resets. The League is the one that starts again.

How you enter and how you score

The only currency of the League is trophies, and there is exactly one way to earn them: bring a new pet into the world, either by hatching an egg or by crafting one. The rarer the pet, the more trophies it is worth. Nothing else on your account feeds the score, and your level and XP have no bearing on it at all.

Standings are rebuilt at most every ten minutes, so a fresh trophy takes its place on the board at the next update rather than instantly. The League screen has two views: your own nearby window, which shows the players just ahead of and just behind you, and the global top list.

The twelve finishing tiers

The top hundred places are ranked absolutely, so on a small board a good week can put you inside a named rank tier outright. Everything past rank 100 is measured as a percentile instead, which keeps the tiers fair whether a thousand or a million people race.

Every tier pays a loot bundle, and the higher tiers also pay Renown. Renown is permanent, it is never spent, and it stacks week after week to raise the wreath on your profile. The same tier pays the same Renown no matter how crowded the board is.

The prizes, and claiming them

Loot is chest led rather than handed over as raw materials. Lower tiers pay boxes and a hatch potion, the middle pays boxes plus Fortune Wheel spins, and the very top pays a Fortune Wheel ticket, an Eternal box and Secret essence that only the champion ever sees.

The season egg prize on top of that scales with how many people actually raced, and it reaches down to the top ten percent. Rank one takes 12 eggs, the top one percent 6, the top five percent 3 and the top ten percent 2. A smaller board pays a smaller ladder, and the scale is frozen when the week opens so the prize you were shown is the prize you are paid.

Nothing lands automatically. When the week closes your reward is written to your account as a pending prize and you have to go and claim it.

One rule that surprises people

Renown has a floor rule that the loot does not. Finish in the bottom half of the board and you mint no Renown at all, whichever tier paid your loot. On a small board the named rank tiers reach past the midpoint, and without that rule last place would be earning permanent prestige every week.

Colonies race too

Your colony is scored on the trophies its top fifty members earn during the same week. If it finishes in the top three, a gem pool opens: 10,000 gems for first, 5,000 for second and 3,000 for third.

That pool is split by contribution, not by headcount. Earn a fifth of your colony's winning trophies and a fifth of the pool is yours. Contribute nothing and you get nothing. A colony with fewer than three contributors pays out nothing at all, and no single member can take more than one head's share.

How do I earn trophies in Time Heroes?

Trophies come from bringing a new pet into the world, by hatching an egg or crafting one. The rarer the pet, the more trophies it scores.

When does the Weekly League reset?

It runs Monday to Sunday and resets every seven days. The all time Pantheon board sits alongside it and never resets.

Do I get my Weekly League reward automatically?

No. When the week closes the reward is written to your account as pending and you have to claim it yourself.
