Yes, it is free. Creating an account and playing costs nothing, and there is no subscription. Everything in the shop is optional.

At timeheroes.app, in the browser on your computer. A desktop or laptop is all it takes, and it runs on Windows, macOS and Linux with a current browser. There is nothing to download or install: you open the page and you are in the game.

No, the game does not start on a phone or a tablet. You can create your account and join the waitlist from a phone, but you have to move to a computer to play.

Yes. Your progress lives on your account, so signing in from another computer picks up your pets, your level and your coins where you left them. There is nothing to save by hand.

Yes. You can add friends, meet in the same world, chat, and join the same colony to grow one mothership together. There are also Duels: you and a friend pick a 5, 30 or 60 minute window, and every pet you hatch in it scores trophies for what it is worth. Most trophies wins.

A colony is a shared mothership that a group of players runs together. Members donate gems and materials to it, and every upgrade it buys pays all of them back. It has four ranks: Leader, Manager, Moderator and Citizen.

No. You can play, unlock the worlds and build a collection without buying anything. What money buys is time and luck: speed ups, cosmetics and timed gamepasses. No purchase hands you a guaranteed pet.

No. The whole game runs in the browser. There is no client, no installer and no app store version.

Every world asks for a player level, a coin cost and the previous world's boss beaten, and from the sixth world a number of Paradox resets as well. World 2 opens at level 20 with 100,000 coins, once you have beaten Elderoot.

A world checks four things at once: your level, your coin balance, whether you have beaten the previous world's boss, and from the sixth world your number of Paradox resets. Each world page lists all four, so check them in that order.

No. Essence is crafting and shuttle material, and no world asks for it at the door. World entry is level, coins, the previous boss, and Paradox resets in the deep worlds.

Time Heroes has 10 live worlds: Forest Realm, Magic Hollow, Molten Depths, Sakura Hills, Heaven's Gate, Stormspire, Shadowvale, Icewaste, Eternal Kingdom and Edge of Time.

The maximum player level is 250. The tenth and deepest world opens at level 100, so there is a long stretch of levelling left after the last world unlocks.

While you are away the game keeps hatching for you, and that time pays gems: 1 gem a minute for the first 8 hours, then 0.25, then 0.1, up to 648 gems a day. You collect them when you come back.

There are 70 creatures, 7 in each of the 10 worlds, one for every rarity. Each creature comes in five forms: four of them hatch, which is 280 hatchable forms in all, and Nova is crafted. Any pet can also come out Shiny, and every hatched pet is born under one of nine zodiac signs. With the Exclusive, Quantum, Prime and Apex creatures on top, the Codex in the game counts 7,740 pets to collect.

On the standard hatch table the rarest tier is Secret, at 1 in 40,000 eggs. Two rarer tiers sit outside that table: Quantum at 1 in 150,000 and Origin at 1 in 500,000.

The standard hatch ladder has seven tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythical and Secret. Rarer tiers exist beyond that ladder, including Exclusive, Quantum, Prime and Apex.

Crafting feeds several pets of one form into a machine to make one pet of the next form up. Success depends only on how many you feed in: 13% for one, 29% for two, 47% for three, 63% for four, 88% for five and 100% for six. Nova crafting is separate: it always takes 6 Astrals and runs on its own success chance.

No, Luck is counted in points, not percent. The Lucky gamepass adds 200 points and Ultra Lucky adds 500, and those points raise how often the rarer tiers come up.

A Paradox unlocks at level 60. It ends your current Cycle and returns the world to a stable state, and you keep permanent multipliers for it. You lose your level, coins, standard pets, team, research upgrades, milestones and essences, and any research still running is refunded in gems. Your gems, TimeStars, gamepasses, cosmetics, colony rank, Exclusive and season pets, Paradox cores and tree, and your lifetime profile numbers all carry over.

There is no combat PvP. The mode you play against another person is Duels: you and a friend, or an opponent the queue finds for you, pick a 5, 30 or 60 minute window, and every pet you hatch in it scores trophies for what it is worth. Neither side can take anything the other owns. The combat you can play is solo: the 100 floor Tower and the world bosses.

No. The marketplace, player to player trading and gifting are all closed at launch. Nothing moves between two player accounts.

Members pool gems and materials into upgrades that pay every member back, and the colony keeps building while you are away. The colonies guide covers the ranks, the daily donation limit and how a colony is put together.

Any desktop or laptop with a modern browser, on Windows, macOS or Linux. The browser version is the whole game. There is no download on offer right now, and no Steam, App Store or Play Store release.

The minimum age for a Time Heroes account is 13, checked when the account is created. Paid randomized items are limited to players 18 and over.

No. Time Heroes is open in Turkiye and most of the world, but at launch it is closed in the European Union and the rest of the European Economic Area, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Canada, Brazil and China. In a closed country the whole game is closed, not just part of it. Where the game is open, paid randomized items are limited to adults wherever local law requires it.

Time Heroes ships in English and Turkish. The English site is at timeheroes.app and the Turkish site is at timeheroes.app/tr/.

Three. Coins come from mining and buy eggs and world entry. Gems come from research, rewards and the time the game hatches for you while you are away, and they pay for research, colony upgrades and permits. TimeStars build up while you play, 1 per minute, and buy speed ups, cosmetics and timed gamepasses. None of the three can be moved to another player or turned into money outside the game.

Time Heroes is developed and published by Timelands, and timeheroes.app is the only place it is playable. Several unrelated games, films and apps share the name, so look for Time Heroes by Timelands.
