Apex pets, the half percent row
Apex is the top tier of the premium eggs. You do not build it and you do not roll it as a size: it is the rarest row on the drop table inside the Exclusive Eggs, and it lands about once in two hundred openings.
An Apex pet has no damage number of its own. It reads your strongest ordinary pet and multiplies that, so it keeps growing as long as your collection does.

Three different doors
Three separate doors put a pet that is not an ordinary Common into your collection, and they have nothing to do with each other.
The first door is the standard egg. It carries the seven rarities from Common up to Secret, you buy it with coins in every world, and Luck moves its odds.
The second door interrupts that same ordinary egg. Origin at 1 in 500,000 and Quantum at 1 in 150,000 roll before the standard table and settle the question on the spot. No potion, pass or Luck value touches Origin, and one Nova Tree node is the only thing that moves it. Quantum answers to a Paradox Tree node, to Charged Eggs and to a server wide Quantum event while one is running.
The third door is the premium eggs. Exclusive Eggs from the shop run their own table, and a Season Egg uses the same one while a season is live. Prime and Apex live there, and no amount of Luck reaches them from an ordinary egg.
The premium egg table
Every Exclusive Egg uses the same six row table, and so does a Season Egg. The Apex row is 0.5%, which is 1 in 200 openings.

What an Apex actually does
Pets from these eggs work differently. A Common or a Legendary has a fixed damage number printed in the catalogue, and an Apex has none. The whole special family is ranked on the multiplier it puts on your best ordinary pet.
- The four Exclusive variants sit just under your best ordinary pet, at 0.8 to 0.95 times.
- Quantum is 2.5 times and Prime is 3 times.
- Apex is 8 times. Origin, which is not on this table at all, is 15 times.
- The multiplier is read at the moment it is used, so an Apex you pulled early is worth more every time you improve the rest of your collection.
Apex, Nova and Titan are three different things
Each comes from somewhere else, and one pet can carry more than one.

It crosses the resets
This is the real argument for an Apex. The two big resets take your levels, your coins and your ordinary pets, and leave these alone. Every pet from a premium egg crosses a Paradox with you, and a Supernova keeps Exclusive, season and Nova pets too.
The one way to lose one is to hand it over yourself: both resets let you offer these pets for extra Cores or Shards.
Improving your Apex odds
There is one dial. Apex Attunement sits on the destiny branch of the Supernova tree, runs two levels, and at full strength doubles the Apex row from 0.5% to 1%. The game caps it there.
A matching Prime dial sits next to it and takes the Prime row up to 7.7%. Both draw the extra chance from the most common row of the same table.
Luck is not a dial here at all. Potions, passes, research and the Charged Eggs multiplier feed the ordinary egg's rarity ladder and never reach this table, so a GOD grade account and a fresh one open the same egg on the same six rows.
Taking an Apex up the form ladder
An Apex goes into the Golden, Rainbow and Astral machines like any other pet, with two differences. The fee is paid in TimeStars instead of coins, and the form bonus is much flatter: golden 1.5 times, rainbow 2.5 and astral 4.5, against the 3, 9 and 27 an ordinary pet gets.
The Nova Machine does not accept them at all.
Is Apex something I can buy directly?
No. You buy the egg, not the pet. Apex is the rarest row inside that egg at 0.5%, and the only thing you can change is the odds, with two levels of Apex Attunement.
Can I get an Apex from a normal egg?
No. Apex and Prime only exist on the premium egg table. The ordinary egg can interrupt itself with Quantum or Origin instead, and those are a different thing entirely.
What is the difference between Prime and Apex?
Same egg, same table, different rows. Prime lands at 3.5% and multiplies by 3. Apex lands at 0.5% and multiplies by 8.
Is an Apex stronger than a Secret pet?
They are measured differently. A Secret has a very large fixed damage number, while an Apex multiplies your best ordinary pet and moves whenever that pet does. The practical difference is that the Apex survives a reset.
