How rare is Shimmer?
Shimmer is Epic and hatches at 1 in 37, or 2.7%, on the standard hatch table. Icewaste holds only one Epic pet, so that whole chance belongs to Shimmer.

How to get Shimmer
Shimmer only hatches once Icewaste is open. The door asks for player level 80, 2.75T coins, 3 Paradox resets and Umbryx beaten.
Shimmer hatches from the Icewaste egg, which costs 150B coins. The egg rolls a rarity from the standard table and hands you Icewaste's creature of that rarity, so Shimmer is what you get when the roll lands on Epic. The Hatching guide walks through every roll an egg makes.
