Last Updated: August 2, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you, the individual using the game ("you", "your"), and Timelands Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi ("Timelands", "we", "us", "our"), the company that operates the game Time Heroes together with all related websites, the Progressive Web App (PWA) client, features, content, and support channels (collectively, the "Services").
By ticking the required Terms and Privacy checkbox at the username/registration step, and/or by accessing or using the Services in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not tick the checkbox and do not access or use the Services.
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data and which also serves as our KVKK Aydınlatma Metni (data-protection information notice under Turkish law). The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference; by accepting these Terms you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
These Terms take effect on the "Last Updated" date shown above and are identified by the version indicated there. Your acceptance is recorded and tied to that consent version (termsVersion). When we make a material change to these Terms, we may require you to re-accept the updated version before you can continue using the Services, as described in Section 21.
These Terms are provided in English and in Turkish as faithful mirror translations of each other. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the two language versions, the Turkish text controls for users resident in the Republic of Türkiye, and the English text controls for all other users.
In these Terms, the following defined terms have the meanings set out below. Other capitalized terms are defined where they first appear.
Time Heroes is a free-to-play, browser-based Progressive Web App (PWA) — an idle/gacha pet-collecting game that you can play through a compatible web browser, with optional in-app Purchases. You do not have to spend money to play.
The Services include social and community features, such as chat, colonies, and direct messages (DMs). The Services also include AI-assisted features, including personalized in-game events and messages, chat moderation and safety tools, and an in-game support assistant. How data is handled in connection with these features is described in our Privacy Policy, which you should read alongside these Terms.
The Services are provided online and require internet connectivity and a compatible browser and device. Performance may vary depending on your device, browser, and connection.
Time Heroes is a live, evolving service. The Services, and their features, content, and availability, may change and may be updated, added to, or removed over time, as further described in Section 15. We do not promise that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; the Services are offered on an evolving, "as is" and "as available" basis as described in Section 17.
The Services may in the future include clearly labeled sponsored content — such as in-game banners or branded events offered in cooperation with brands and sponsors. Sponsored content, where present, will always be identifiable as such; it does not change what you own or what you can do in the Game, and no advertiser or sponsor receives your personal data — only aggregated, anonymized statistics, as described in Section 9A of our Privacy Policy. As of the effective date of these Terms, no sponsored content is shown.
Some features may be unavailable, restricted, or modified by region or by age in order to comply with local law, as further described in Sections 10 and 16.
Where the Services are offered. There are countries in which we do not offer the Services at all, rather than offering them with some features switched off. Section 10 lists those countries by name. If you are in one of them you will not be able to play, and you will see a notice explaining that instead of the Game.
The Minimum Age to use the Services is 13. The Services are not directed to, and may not be used by, children under the age of 13.
When you register, you are asked to confirm your age. Age is self-attested at registration, and registration requires you to confirm you are at least 13; accounts that do not meet the Minimum Age are not permitted. You agree to provide accurate age information.
No parental-consent route below 13. We do not operate, and do not offer, a mechanism by which a parent or legal guardian can consent on behalf of a child under 13 so that the child may use the Services. The age step at registration blocks under-13 accounts, and there is no form, approval, or exception process that admits one.
Where the law of your country sets a higher minimum age for consenting to the processing of your personal data (for example, 16 in some EU/EEA countries), you must meet that higher age before we process personal data that relies on your consent. Below that local age we do not rely on the user's own consent; we keep the consent-based features switched off instead.
If you are at least 13 but are under the age of legal majority in your country of residence (a Minor), you may use the Services only with the involvement, review, and consent of your parent or legal guardian. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
Any Purchase or Subscription made by a Minor requires the express prior consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts financial responsibility for those transactions. Parents and legal guardians who permit a Minor to use the Services agree to these Terms on the Minor's behalf, are responsible for supervising that use and any Purchases, and are responsible for the Minor's compliance with these Terms. As an additional safeguard against unsupervised spending, we are introducing a monthly spending cap for accounts whose age is under 18.
If a Purchase was made by a Minor without the authorization of their parent or legal guardian, the parent or guardian may contact us at [email protected] to request review, and we will handle the request in accordance with applicable consumer-protection law.
Random Item Mechanics and age. Where local law restricts loot boxes or similar random-item mechanics for minors, we restrict, geo-block, or age-gate those features accordingly, as further described in Section 10; in particular, where required by applicable law, we make paid Random Item Mechanics unavailable to users under 18.
Age rating. Time Heroes carries a self-declared age rating of 13+, which is displayed on our website together with the content descriptors that apply to the game, including in-app purchases and randomized items. We do not offer the Services to users below the age set by that rating, and we will update the rating and the descriptors if the content of the Services changes.
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Services where eligibility (including age) cannot be verified or has been misrepresented.
This Section should be read together with the children's-data section of our Privacy Policy (which reflects the same 13+ stance and the higher-age rule above) and with our right to restrict or age-gate Random Item Mechanics and other features under Section 10.
To use certain features of the Services, you must create or access an Account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide at registration and for keeping it up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Account and of the login methods you use to access it, including any third-party sign-in providers you link (see Section 14). You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account. You agree to notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your Account or any other breach of security.
You may hold one Account per person, unless we expressly permit otherwise. Sharing, selling, buying, transferring, or trading Accounts is prohibited, consistent with the real-money-trading ban in Section 9 and the prohibited-conduct rules in Section 11.
We may use anti-abuse and bot-protection measures, such as challenge checks, and we may require you to re-verify your identity or your Account where reasonably necessary to protect the Services and other users.
Your Timelands ID / identity layer may persist even after other content associated with your Account is deleted, so that you can return to the Services. This is described in more detail in the retention section of our Privacy Policy; nothing here overstates what is retained, and financial, security, and identity records are retained only for the defined periods and on the lawful bases explained there.
We may suspend, restrict, or take other action on an Account for violations of these Terms, as further described in Sections 9 and 16.
When you use a third-party sign-in or other linked service to access your Account, you must also comply with that provider's terms, as described in Section 14.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Timelands grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
Timelands and its licensors own all intellectual property rights in and to the Services, including the software, source code, artwork, pets, characters, names, user interface, audio, text, and trademarks. Except for the limited license expressly granted in these Terms, no right, title, or interest in or to the Services is granted to you, whether by implication or otherwise. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
All Virtual Items and Virtual Content are licensed, not sold. When you obtain Virtual Items or Virtual Content — whether by earning them in the Services or through a Purchase — you receive only a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use them within the Services. You acquire no ownership or other property interest in any Virtual Item or Virtual Content, and all rights in and to them remain with Timelands.
Virtual Content has no monetary value outside the Services, cannot be redeemed for real currency, and cannot be transferred. The full rules governing the in-game economy are set out in Section 7.
We may modify, manage, regulate, remove, or discontinue Virtual Content and the in-game economy at our discretion, subject to applicable law, as further described in Sections 7, 10, and 15.
Except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, copy, or create derivative works from the Services or any part of them. These restrictions are reinforced in Section 11.
The Services use in-game Virtual Currencies, namely TimeStar (premium currency), Prism (premium hard currency, maintained on its own wallet and ledger), Gem, and Coin, together with other Virtual Items.
You expressly acknowledge and agree that the Virtual Currencies (TimeStar, Prism, Gem, and Coin) and all other Virtual Items:
There is no secondary market for Virtual Currency or Virtual Items. Buying, selling, trading, gifting, or otherwise transferring Virtual Currency, Virtual Items, or Accounts is prohibited. These restrictions are part of what keeps the Services outside the definitions of gambling and electronic money.
Colony donations — the one narrow exception, and its limits. The Services let you DONATE Virtual Currency into the shared pool of a colony you belong to. This is a one-way contribution to a group resource, and it is not a transfer between players. Specifically: (a) a donation goes into the colony's own pool, never into another player's balance or wallet; (b) it is irreversible and cannot be reclaimed, refunded, withdrawn, or sent back to you or to anyone else; (c) no player — including a colony leader — can take Virtual Currency out of that pool, pay it to themselves or to another player, or convert it into anything outside the Services; the pool can only be spent by the colony on in-game colony functions; and (d) you receive nothing of real-world value in return, and nothing of real-world value can be obtained from the pool. A donation is therefore a use of your licensed Virtual Currency inside the Services, not a gift, payment, or transfer to another user, and it does not create any secondary market. Everything stated above about non-transferability and no cash-out continues to apply in full.
As stated in Section 6, Virtual Currency and Virtual Items are a licensed right of use within the Services only. That license is revocable, and you acquire no ownership or other property interest in them.
Balances of Virtual Currency and Virtual Items may expire, be adjusted, corrected, or forfeited on Account closure or termination, on prolonged inactivity, or where reasonably necessary to correct errors or to address fraud or exploits, in each case subject to applicable law.
We may change prices, exchange rates, availability, and the design of the in-game economy at any time. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, such changes do not entitle you to any compensation.
Note (regulatory): This closed-loop treatment — no real-world value, non-transferable (including no player-to-player transfer inside the Services), no cash-out, non-refundable, revocable license, no property interest — is a core feature of the Services. Transferability or cash-out of TimeStar, Prism, Gem, or Coin — or any player-to-player gifting or trading of them or of any Virtual Item — will not be introduced without a separate legal re-assessment, because doing so would change the regulatory character of the Virtual Currencies and the Virtual Items.
Consumer Purchases within the Services are processed by Xsolla, acting as the Merchant of Record (MoR). When you make a Purchase, your payment is a transaction with the Payment Processor, and it is subject to the Payment Processor's own terms and privacy policy in addition to these Terms.
What this means in practice. As Merchant of Record, the Payment Processor is the seller of record for the transaction: it takes your payment, issues your receipt, and is responsible for charging and remitting applicable taxes. Timelands remains responsible for the Services themselves — for the game, for delivering the Virtual Content you bought, and for player support inside the game. The Payment Processor does not develop or operate the game. The Payment Processor's terms that apply to you are published at xsolla.com/general-terms (general terms), xsolla.com/eula (end-user licence agreement), xsolla.com/refund-policy (refund policy), and xsolla.com/privacypolicy (privacy policy); its support for payment and billing matters is at help.xsolla.com. Those documents may be updated by the Payment Processor from time to time, and the version published there is the one that governs your payment transaction.
Depending on your region and the offer, Purchases may be charged in Turkish Lira (TRY), US Dollars (USD), or UAE Dirham (AED). The price shown to you at checkout is the total price you will be charged and, where required by applicable law (for example, for consumers in the EU, EEA, and UK), is inclusive of applicable value-added or consumption taxes. Your Merchant of Record is responsible for charging and remitting applicable taxes.
Payment disputes, chargebacks, and billing issues are handled with and through the Payment Processor in accordance with its processes. Timelands does not store your full payment card data; how payment-related data is handled is described in the payment-data section of our Privacy Policy.
Virtual Content is delivered or activated immediately or shortly after a successful Purchase. By making a Purchase, you request and consent to immediate delivery and performance. At the point of each purchase of digital content that is supplied immediately, you are asked to expressly consent to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that you thereby lose your statutory right of withdrawal; this consent is recorded, and we provide confirmation of it (for example, by email or in your purchase record) on a durable medium, as required by applicable law. As explained in Section 9, this affects any statutory cooling-off (withdrawal) right you may have for digital content.
Subscriptions (for example, VIP and the Season Pass) are recurring and automatically renew for successive periods of the same length as the initial period, at the price disclosed to you at purchase, until you cancel. Before you buy, we will clearly show you the renewal price, the renewal interval, and that the Subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time via the in-app subscription settings (Settings → Account → Manage Subscription), directly with the Payment Processor through its support at help.xsolla.com, or, where the purchase was made through a platform store, via that store's subscription-management screen; you may cancel at any time before the next renewal date to avoid the next charge, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. If we increase the price of a Subscription, we will notify you in advance and, where required by applicable law, obtain your consent or give you the right to cancel before the new price applies. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not, by itself, refund the current period, except where applicable law requires. Auto-renewal is also subject to the refund rules in Section 9.
Permanent gamepasses are no longer sold as of July 1, 2026; passes currently offered are timed tiers. Permanent gamepasses purchased before that date continue to be honored in accordance with their original terms.
We may refuse, cancel, or limit Purchases to prevent fraud, error, or abuse. Abusive purchase or refund behavior may lead to action on your Account, as described in Section 9 and Section 11.
ALL PURCHASES AND VIRTUAL CONTENT ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE DELIVERED OR ACTIVATED, EXCEPT WHERE A REFUND IS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW OR GRANTED UNDER THE REFUND POLICY OF THE PAYMENT PROCESSOR.
The Payment Processor's refund policy also applies to you. The rule above is our policy for Virtual Content inside the Services. It does not, and cannot, take away the rights you have against the Payment Processor as the seller of record for your payment. The Payment Processor operates its own published refund policy (xsolla.com/refund-policy), which applies to your Purchase in addition to these Terms, and which at the date of these Terms provides, among other things, a request window of 14 days from receipt and refunds in defined cases — for example, content you paid for but did not receive, an accidental duplicate purchase, or in-game currency that has not yet been used. That policy also states that it does not cover cases such as simply changing your mind after you have started using the content. We summarise it here for your convenience only: the Payment Processor's own published policy is the authoritative version, it may change, and where it grants you more than this Section does, that policy governs your payment. You can raise a refund request with the Payment Processor directly at help.xsolla.com.
Cooling-off / right of withdrawal (EU/EEA/UK and similar). Virtual Content is digital content that is supplied immediately. If you are a consumer who would otherwise have a statutory right of withdrawal (a "cooling-off" right) — for example, in the EU, EEA, or UK — then, by making a Purchase and requesting immediate access to and performance of the Virtual Content, you expressly consent to that immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your statutory right of withdrawal/cooling-off in respect of that Virtual Content, to the extent permitted by applicable law. At the point of each such purchase you are asked to give this express consent and acknowledgment, and we provide confirmation of it on a durable medium, as described in Section 8.
Mandatory consumer rights preserved. Nothing in this Section limits or excludes any non-waivable refund or consumer-protection right you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence. Where such a right applies, it continues to apply regardless of the No-Refund rule above. In particular:
How to request a refund. There is no self-service refund button in the Services; every refund is handled manually. You have two routes and you may use either one:
Contacting us does not shorten or waive any deadline under the Payment Processor's refund policy or under your mandatory consumer rights. Where your purchase was made through a third-party platform store instead, refunds for that purchase are handled under that store's refund policy. Please contact us or the Payment Processor before starting a chargeback with your bank — we can usually resolve the problem faster, and a chargeback raised without contacting us may lead to action on your Account under the abuse rules below.
Subscriptions. For auto-renewing Subscriptions (Section 8), we do not refund the remaining or unused portion of a paid period after cancellation, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Virtual Currency and Virtual Items. Consistent with Section 7, Virtual Currency and Virtual Items are non-refundable. Timelands may nonetheless, in cases of proven error, fraud, or technical fault, correct or reverse a transaction at its discretion.
Abuse of refunds. Using refunds or chargebacks as a way to obtain Virtual Currency or Virtual Items, or otherwise abusing refund or support processes, is prohibited conduct under Section 11 and may result in action on your Account.
If a payment for one of your purchases is reversed by your bank or through our seller, we also take back the in game value that purchase added to your account. We remove whatever is still in your balance. If you already spent it, the part we could not take back shows on your account as an open balance.
While you have an open balance you cannot make new purchases. You can still sign in and play. Your level, your items, your pets, your colony membership and your friends stay untouched. The shop opens again as soon as the open balance is cleared. If you make a new payment, it clears your open balance first.
There are cases where we do not add an open balance: if we issued the refund ourselves, if the refund was required by law, if your card was used without your knowledge, or if a child using the account spent money without the account holder's approval. Write to us at [email protected] if this happened. A person reviews your case and replies within 5 business days.
If payment reversals happen again on the same account, we may close the purchase channel indefinitely. We only do this after a person has reviewed the case, and we tell you why.
Nothing in this section takes away the rights you have as a consumer under the law.
The Services include Random Item Mechanics — for example, gacha features and egg-hatching — in which certain Virtual Items are obtained on a randomized basis rather than being selected directly.
We are committed to odds transparency. The probabilities and drop rates for Random Item Mechanics are published in-game, and those published odds govern the outcomes; the published odds control. The probability of every individual item obtainable through a Random Item Mechanic is disclosed to you per item — not only per rarity tier — before you commit to a draw, at the point of purchase, and is also available in-game at any time. Odds are shown as a percentage or as a "1 in N" figure.
Odds that reflect your own account. Some Random Item Mechanics — our cosmetic cases — never award you an item you already own, so opening a case repeatedly yields every distinct item in it. That means the true probability of each remaining item changes as your collection fills up, and a single fixed table would be inaccurate for you after your first open. The odds we show you are therefore calculated against the items you can still receive, using the same logic that performs the draw. In other words, the figure you see is the real probability of your next open, not the probability a brand-new player would face.
How a draw is paid for. A draw is always performed using in-game currency or an in-game item, and every draw yields a Virtual Item usable within the Services — there is no losing draw, and no separate real-money charge is taken at the moment of a draw. Some of the items that enable a draw, such as cosmetic case keys, can be bought with real money as well as earned or bought with in-game currency; we state this plainly rather than describe these features as if real money were never involved. Because the resulting Virtual Items have no real-world value, are non-transferable, cannot be cashed out, and have no secondary market (Section 7), Random Item Mechanics do not constitute gambling.
Items obtained through Random Item Mechanics are Virtual Items and are subject to Section 7. In particular, they have no real-world monetary value, are non-transferable, have no secondary market, and cannot be cashed out.
Regional and age restrictions. Two different limits can apply where you are, and we state them separately because they mean different things to you: in some countries we do not offer the Services at all, and in others we offer the Services but restrict or age-gate paid Random Item Mechanics. Where local law treats loot boxes or similar random-item mechanics as gambling or restricts them for minors, and where offering the Services would require registrations, local representatives, or product changes we have not completed, we restrict, geo-block, or age-gate accordingly. As at the date of these Terms:
Our Payment Processor operates its own restricted-territory rules for this kind of content, which apply to the payment in addition to ours. We may add jurisdictions to the lists above, and we reserve the right to restrict, modify, geo-block, age-gate, or disable Random Item Mechanics — or any monetization feature — by region or by age to comply with local law or with the requirements of our Payment Processor. Where required by applicable law, we make paid Random Item Mechanics unavailable to users under 18.
How we determine your region. The country used for these restrictions is determined at our network edge and verified by our servers; we do not simply take the browser's word for it, and where a purchase is involved, the buyer country reported by our Payment Processor acts as an independent check. This is a good-faith geographic restriction rather than an anti-circumvention system: if we cannot determine a country at all, we do not restrict, and a user who deliberately masks their location may defeat it. Circumventing a region lock or age gate is prohibited conduct under Section 11.
Where Random Item Mechanics are restricted in your region, we may, at our discretion and subject to applicable law, offer alternatives or direct-purchase options instead.
Beyond the published odds, we do not guarantee that you will obtain any specific item. Whether to use Random Item Mechanics is at your discretion.
Note (compliance): Our commitment to geo-restrict and age-gate Random Item Mechanics is a deliberate compliance posture for jurisdictions that regulate loot boxes as gambling or restrict them for minors, and it reflects the requirements of our Payment Processor as well as our own. It is enforced on our servers, not merely by hiding a button.
When you use the Services, you agree not to do any of the following:
Violations of this Section may result in warnings, feature restrictions, removal of Virtual Currency or Virtual Items, suspension, or permanent ban, and in the forfeiture of Virtual Content, in each case subject to applicable law and as further described in Sections 12 and 16.
"User Content" means content you submit or generate through the Services, including chat messages, colony and profile names, direct messages (DMs), bug reports, and other submissions. You are responsible for your User Content, and your User Content must comply with Section 11 and with applicable law.
By submitting User Content, you grant Timelands a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, moderate, and use your User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, and improve the Services. This license is limited to those purposes and is not a transfer of ownership of your User Content.
Content moderation exists in the Services and may be automated and/or AI-assisted. This can include profanity filters, automated moderation, AI-assisted moderation, and user reports. How data is handled in connection with AI-assisted moderation is described in our Privacy Policy, which you should read alongside these Terms.
Notice and takedown (Law No. 5651). If you believe that User Content on the Services is unlawful or infringes your rights or the rights of others, you can report it to us through the reporting features in the Services or by contacting us at the channel identified in Section 23. On a valid notice, or a court or authority order that content is unlawful, we act as a hosting provider (yer sağlayıcı) under Law No. 5651 and remove or disable access to that content without delay.
Statement of reasons and appeal. Where we remove your User Content or restrict your Account for a content or conduct violation, we will, where required by applicable law (including the EU Digital Services Act), provide you with a statement of the reasons and a means to appeal or contest that decision through our support channel at [email protected].
We reserve the right to remove, filter, or restrict User Content, and to suspend or ban Accounts, for violations of these Terms. We are not obligated to pre-screen all User Content.
We retain chat and DM content only for limited periods; the applicable retention periods are described in our Privacy Policy, which you should refer to for the specifics.
We are not obligated to store or return User Content after it is removed, or after a ban or Account deletion, subject to applicable law.
"Feedback" means any suggestions, ideas, improvement requests, or comments you voluntarily provide to us about the Services.
You grant Timelands a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, modify, and commercialize your Feedback without restriction and without any attribution or compensation to you.
You provide Feedback voluntarily, and Feedback is non-confidential. You represent that you have the right to submit the Feedback you provide and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.
Nothing in this Section obligates Timelands to use your Feedback or to keep it confidential.
Feedback is distinct from User Content (Section 12) and from your personal data (which is governed by our Privacy Policy).
You may sign in with, or link, certain third-party services. In particular, you may sign in using Google (OAuth sign-in) and you may optionally link Discord (for role sync and related features).
Your use of any linked third-party service is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy, and you are responsible for complying with them.
Timelands is not responsible for, and does not endorse, any third-party services, websites, or content that are linked from or integrated with the Services.
Linking a third-party service may involve a limited exchange of data between that service and the Services; the processors involved (including Google and Discord) are described in our Privacy Policy. Where the feature supports it, you can unlink a linked service.
The Payment Processor (Xsolla) is a third party whose terms apply to your Purchases, as described in Section 8. Those terms, its refund policy, and its privacy policy are published at xsolla.com/general-terms, xsolla.com/refund-policy, and xsolla.com/privacypolicy, and its support is at help.xsolla.com. We recommend you read them, because they govern the payment side of your Purchase alongside these Terms.
We may add, change, or discontinue third-party integrations at any time, subject to applicable law.
The Services are a live, evolving product. We may add, change, update, patch, balance, or remove features, content, pets, events, Virtual Items, and economy parameters at any time.
Changes may affect the availability, balance, price, or utility of Virtual Content. These changes are part of the ordinary course of operating a live service and, except where applicable law requires otherwise, do not entitle you to any compensation.
We may impose or change limits, and we may manage the in-game economy to maintain balance, fix errors, and prevent abuse, as further described in Sections 7 and 11.
This Section covers routine changes to the Services. A full termination or shutdown of the Services is addressed separately in Section 16, which includes our advance-notice commitment for a full shutdown.
Where reasonable, we aim to communicate significant changes through in-game or website notices.
We do not guarantee that any specific feature, content, or event will remain available.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to all or part of the Services if you violate these Terms, if we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse, where required by law, or where reasonably necessary to protect the Services or other users.
On termination, your access to the Services ends, and any unused or forfeitable Virtual Content is lost, subject to applicable law and to the No-Refund clause in Section 9. This is consistent with the treatment of Virtual Content in Section 7.
You may stop using the Services at any time. You may delete your Account through the in-app settings (Settings → Account → Delete Account); the deletion process is described in our Privacy Policy. As explained there, certain records — including financial, security, and identity records — are retained for the defined periods and on the lawful bases stated in the Privacy Policy even after Account deletion.
Full service shutdown. If we permanently discontinue the entire Services, we will provide reasonable advance notice — for example, at least 30 days — through in-game or website channels where practicable. On a full and permanent shutdown of the Services, for Virtual Currency and Virtual Items that you purchased with real money and have not yet consumed, we will, during the advance-notice period, allow you to use them within the Services, and where required by applicable consumer-protection law we will provide a refund or other remedy for the unconsumed, paid portion. Earned (non-purchased) Virtual Currency and Virtual Items remain subject to forfeiture, subject to applicable law and to the No-Refund clause in Section 9.
Survival. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply after termination, including those on intellectual property, the characterization of Virtual Content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law and dispute resolution.
We reserve the right to act immediately and without prior notice where reasonably necessary to prevent harm, fraud, or a violation of law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services and all Virtual Content are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, as well as any warranty that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
We take reasonable measures to operate the Services, but we do not claim that the Services are completely secure or that data loss can never occur. We describe our approach without giving guarantees.
Any content, advice, or AI-generated output provided within the Services — including from the in-game support assistant and other AI-assisted features — is provided for entertainment or support convenience only and may be inaccurate. You should not rely on it as professional advice.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some parts of this Section may not apply to you. Nothing in this Section limits any non-waivable statutory warranties or other non-waivable consumer rights you may have.
Please also refer to our Privacy Policy and to Section 15 regarding availability and changes to the Services.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Timelands will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or Virtual Content, arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Timelands' total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms is limited to the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to Timelands for the Services in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100) (or its equivalent in your billing currency).
The exclusions and the liability cap in this Section apply to all theories of liability, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or otherwise, and even if a limited remedy is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
Nothing in this Section excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or in respect of any non-waivable consumer rights.
If you are a consumer with mandatory statutory protections, you keep those protections regardless of this Section, as reflected in Section 20.
The pricing and the free-to-play nature of the Services reflect this allocation of risk between you and Timelands.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Timelands, its affiliates, and its officers and employees from and against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms.
This includes claims arising out of your User Content, your violation of Section 11 (Prohibited Conduct), your infringement of the intellectual-property or other rights of any third party, and your violation of applicable law.
Timelands may, at its option, assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter that is subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claims.
This obligation applies only to claims arising out of your own acts or omissions. It does not extend to any claim arising out of Timelands' own negligence or wrongdoing.
This Section applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and does not override any non-waivable consumer protections you may have.
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Services, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Subject to the consumer carve-out below, the Istanbul (Anadolu) Courts and Enforcement Offices (İstanbul Anadolu Mahkemeleri ve İcra Daireleri) have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services.
Mandatory consumer-rule carve-out. If you are a consumer, nothing in this Section deprives you of the protection afforded to you by the mandatory laws of your country of residence, including the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the EU/EEA and the UK where applicable. Those mandatory rules continue to apply to you regardless of this choice of law and forum.
For consumers resident in Türkiye, the Turkish consumer arbitration committees (Tüketici Hakem Heyetleri) and consumer courts are available as provided by Turkish consumer law.
Alternative dispute resolution. Consumers in the EU/EEA may also have access to out-of-court dispute resolution (alternative dispute resolution) bodies in their country; we are, however, not obliged to and do not commit to participate in a specific ADR scheme unless required by applicable law.
Disputes about the payment itself. This Section governs disputes between you and Timelands about the Services. A dispute that is about the payment transaction — a charge, a refund, or a chargeback — is with the Payment Processor as seller of record and is subject to that provider's own terms and dispute-resolution rules (see Section 8). Nothing in that provider's terms limits the mandatory consumer rights described in this Section or in Section 9, and nothing in this Section stops you from bringing a payment problem to us as well.
We encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve any dispute informally before formal proceedings are started.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version and its effective date are published within the Services and/or on our website.
When we make material changes, we will communicate them through in-game or website notices. Consistent with our versioned consent system, a material change may require you to re-accept the updated Terms before you can continue using the Services.
Except where re-acceptance is required, your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Services, and you may delete your Account as described in Section 16.
Your acceptance of these Terms, including the applicable consent version and the "Last Updated" date, is recorded, as described in the acceptance mechanism in Section 1.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision or of our right to enforce it later.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them. We may assign these Terms — for example, in connection with a reorganization, merger, or acquisition — subject to applicable law.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any specific in-service terms incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Timelands regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements on that subject.
Force majeure. Neither party is liable for any delay or failure to perform to the extent caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
Notices and order of precedence. We may provide notices to you through the Services, by email, or on our website. Specific in-service terms (for example, event rules) supplement these Terms; they do not override these Terms unless we expressly state otherwise.
